Nigeria
In September 2022, the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria in collaboration with the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Division of Epidemiology and Prevention and Center for International Health, Education, and Biosecurity; Institute of Human Virology invited Africa Fire Mission to provide a fire and life safety evaluation of their facilities in Abuja, Nigeria. AFM also provided policy and procedure review and staff training on fire prevention and safety. Together with IHVN Africa Fire Mission is collaborating with FCT Fire Service to explore possibilities for future partnerships in developing the Fire Service.
